I don't know...had both.
In my area Calif I prefer the Vert.
But, moon/ see through roof panel on cold days is very enjoyable.
Ability to remove roof panel is great.
Some say convertibles look better.

Bigger change for the op is going manual to auto trans I'd say.
Good luck in your decision.

You may or may not miss the Vert. But, you will miss the manual.

I'd never even consider it! That's how much I love my convertible!

I had a coupe and went to a convertible. Only reason for a coupe is if you race your vette at the track.

As a first time 'Vette owner, I couldn't imagine it NOT being a vert. Some younger gals came into the pool room at the bar I was in and they asked whose Ferrari was parked outside, it was starting to rain.

I recently sold my coupe and am now in the market for a 'vert. I took the targa off whenever possible and love the open feeling. I like the looks of the 'vert with the top down and cargo space is not an issue for me. Good luck in your search!

My 2006 triple black is my first convertible, ever. And I didn't know how much fun it was to drive topless. The fact that there are no blind spots ( traded my 2011 SS Camaro for it) is great. I've put more miles on this Vette in the last year than my other 3 Vettes or Camaro. It's so freaking fun to drive both on back roads and highways. My 2 C4s had removable tops , my Z06 didn't. Removable top is not a convertible. The sunroof on my Camaro, not the same. I think you will miss the drop top. Just saying...

LOL, I posted this over a year ago, needless to say I kept the vert and sure glad I did. Not only do I think I would have not liked the auto coupe but also the dealer was scamming the customers and are now out of business, many good people lost a lot of money to that stealership.

I went from a hardtop Z06 to a vert. Wish I had the hardtop back.

I had a C4 convertible, which I loved, but I also love my a6 coupe too, especially in the cold. I take my Targa top off all the time.

R8C, 427, manny, vert.

Only reason I got it was because I could get the 427 in a vert

Well . . . and my wife selected the color (NRBM).
