Default Michelin Tires

I know that there is a lot of discussion here on the wear and tear of different tires and what is good and which is bad. So I decided to post a photo of my Michelin tires on my 2007 Coupe LS2.
Here is a photo of when the tire have 50,000 miles on it. As you can see, I can still put a lot more miles on it. Wanted to post so that you can get an idea of it.

Default Michelin

Not on a vette but I have run Michelins on my pickups in the past. I once got 120,000 miles on a set of AT2's. They were rateed for 70,000. They still had 1/4" tread left but the sidewalls were starting to get cracks. If you want a high mileage tire , Michelin.

Hard to beat Michelin for wear and ride comfort. Well worth the price.

They are outstanding tires!

I got 68,000 out of them, so as long as your alignment is neutral ( everything close to zero), it's amazing what can be accomplished.

That's impressive !

I'm glad to see this post as the 2010 I just bought has these tires on it and I've never had run flats before.

I've always read that traditional tires ride better and perform better than run flats but so far (one week) these seem to be doing fine.

I still have the GYs that the previous owner bought a couple of years ago, and there is plenty of thread left.
When it's time to replace the tires, it will be Michellins!

A/S tires usually last longer but great mileage. As long as they are not old (6 or 7 years) you should be good. New Michelin AS3 + is a lot better.

These are wearing well because they are not a 200-280 thread wear ultra high performance tire not because they are Michelin's. I wipe out Michelin Pilot Sport 4s well before 20k. The tires here have a 500 thread wear rating.
