Said noises go away after going higher rpm/speed. Is normal. ? "Do all vettes rattle if you go slow " ?? The car runs fine just you can hear stuff if im going slow in a parking lot . Its my first Vette and I got it yesterday.

Youre probably hearing the Lsx lifter tick, dont worry about it. Vettes, trucks SUVs they almost all do it.

I will be dead honest. I thought the sales guy was full of **** when he said they all did it. Plus a quick Google search verified the lift tick stuff, Major relief. All I can hope for is that i dont mistake the current noise for lift tick and it turns out to be a diff issue down the line. Anyways thanks.

Now let's hope I don't burn the clutch out before mastering it.

Just change the oil every 5K miles, she will probably outlast you.

If it has not been done, there is a TSB out that changed the diff oil and that may be the reason you are hearing noise.. A lot of us had noise from the rear end that went away as soon as we changed to the proper fluid. By the way, my 2007 is silent. No creaks or rattles. If your car is making noise, it is almost always an easy fix. Common noises come from the roof, diff, end links and axle nuts. All simple and cheap fixes. Those driving around in rattling and clunking Corvettes are just not trying to fix them.
This is the correct fluid for your diff. Buy three quarts but you will only need a little over two.

It's nice to see alot of responses. I went back to the dealer and complained about them trying to get one over on me so they are taking a look at it Monday morning.
