There are several types of safety belt for animal occupants. I use a chest harness and belt specifically designed for medium sized dogs. Works the same as a human with a 3point shoulder belt.

Well heck-fire. I got some friends that fit this mold...... On a serious note.......whether or not one wants to muck up their Corvette by letting an animal ride in it is up to them. Just as long as they don't risk anyone elses life on the road by having that dog in their lap or hanging out all over the driver side window while they are driving. I rank this idiotic move as being right up there with driving while operating ones device........

This is my companion of choice when my wife or son isn't with me. This is alex, my blue crown conure, and he is a great conversationalist!! Dogs ride in wife's car or my van.

What? Since when is it illegal or "wrong" to have a dog in the car? Are you breaking the law every time you take your dog to the vette?? I'm so confused.

Anyway, here's mine. It's just a car and is worth less than our other cars so why wouldn't he ride in it? Also, he absolutely loves it.

My 'granddog' rides in mine a lot. Enjoys it, especially in the rear area (coupe).

To each his own.
I can't deal with dog hair, male dogs drip, female dogs bleed, they all slobber, and like the previous poster said........they don't wipe their asses.
But I don't judge.
