It's looking nice. Now time to get some cars in there and dirty it up.

No cracked or broken tiles in the last 5 years the floor has been down ...

4 years now and Porcelain floors still look new. Garage gets used. I have a lift on it. I do keep a old carpet for when I drop tools on it and lay a drop clothe for fluids but overall very happy with it.

I love the tile look, and impressed how tuff it is. but the cost again is not cheap,, even if you find 99 cent discount tiles, plus the cenment, and stuff we talking a lot of work and 2k easy.. on a 1000 foot garage.

sealer is to much too, hell the pad its self ws only 3-4k ha.

I agree but Im in the garage more then the house. My garage is just north of 1K square feet too but its my favorite room in the house. I think I paid 1.35 for the tile and hired someone to install it. Heck you only live once.

nice garages, I'm jealous of all you guys with newer homes and nice garages. My house was a mini Victorian built in the late 1800's so while I do have a detached garage out back, its nothing like you guys. Hell when my house was built, no such things as cars.

Here is where mine is at currently, hoping to have siding, brick, and shingles next week.

25X40X12, 4 windows, 1 door, and a custom 18X10 raise panel insulated normal garage door to match house with highmount track and jackshaft opener
Ran has 220 wireing and separate 20amp breakers at each window for AC units ifneeded. insulation and Sheet rock will be installed too...

Has anyone had any experience with racedeck flooring? I have 400 sq ft to do inngarage. Price? Looks? Ease of installation, etc. haven’t seen anyone post any garages with it. Just looking for opinions! Thanks

A friend of mine just did a similar sized garage, he was very happy with it and said it was very easy to install. I have never used the product myself. Ive used VCT....would not again. Gym 3/4 matting....would not use again.

Floor is done. 5 coats of High Gloss Floor Polish on it. It was shiny but not glass like . So I found a commercial floor buffer on Craigslist for $100.
An afternoon of buffing and wow.
It really put a luster on it .
I'm sold on this flooring and glad I didn't do the epoxy. That stuff is worthless unless you have it done professionally in my opinion.

The garage, 3 car garage setup 36x28 with 12ft ceilings. I knew i wanted the majority of my lighting on the walls because of the ceiling height and detailing purposes. No led's for me. I put two 4ft 4 banks in the very center of the garage on the ceiling but the rest 4ft 2 banks on the walls. I also put a 6 light spot light in the center on the ceiling of 16ft door with a dimmer. Wall mount garage door openers, high lift insulated garage doors, Modutile Interlocking module tile flooring, Trane duckless heat/cool system, Titan 4 post lift. Electrical outlets every 4ft. 2 industrial ceiling fans. Have water ran for utility sink but haven't installed it yet.
