Hand Lotion

To all that think you may be conditioning the leather, you are not.
Even though the seats are leather, they are coated with a vinyl/plasticized surface, so any conditioner is never going to touch the leather UNDERNEATH.
I fact, you may be doing your seats a disservice; think along the line of like dissolves like. Do this often enough, and sure enough you may have problems with the surface cracking, because you broke down the protective coating .

Apples and oranges, CN.
No one actually thinks the wax conditions the paint.

Thank you for all the reply and some are very funny and some are informative ( didn't know the seat was coated ). Here is my thing, I was searching the web for the best way to protect the leather seat and found this video https://www.google.com/search?q=leat...TF-8#kpvalbx=1 around 6:57 the guy was talking about leather conditioner that has vitamin E and Aloe to protect and soften the leather. My thought was the hand lotion that have this ingredients would work the same.

Just because the final coat of paint is clear does not mean it is not paint.

I don't think the issue should be conditioning of the leather.
When you use a quality product such as Meguires Rich Leather, two things happen. First, it reduces the friction between your clothes and the seat. This is important because much of the pulling and tugging effect on the material and stitching is eliminated.
Second, if you are wanting the seats to look their best for a special occasion, there's no way a plain moist wipe down will match the new look that a quality product creates.
To each their own, but I have been using this stuff for years on different vehicles and the seats look great.

Been using Zaino Leather In A Bottle for years. Seats look like new. Smell like new. Really good stuff.

That might be true for garage queens, but that does not apply to guys like me where my car sits outside 7/24 in hot humid climate and a little cold in the winter....I treated my 2008 about six months after i drove it off the dealers lot with a product that is only available online about once a year and my seats still look new..I will tell one tip when using this product...Heat is used.....
