Default Random people taking pics of your car?

I don’t drive the GS that much & if I do, I rarely am anywhere long enough to just have it sitting out. Tonight the family went out to dinner & my oldest daughter wanted to ride in the GS so we took that.

I parked far away from anyone but in my line of sight from our booth & we hadn’t sat down 5 minutes & I see a guy stop his car & get out to start taking pics of the GS. He must of been taking pics for a good 5-7 minutes. Throughout dinner I saw multiple cars stop in front of the GS & people either get out and check it out or take pics. Just seemed odd I guess.

Nobody cares about corvettes here. Audi or Subaru on bags? That’s the ****...

Yeah, it's a pretty common occurrence if you modify the exterior much.

I have people at stop lights taking pics and videos regularly. I also DD so I'm in it often.

It’s in public, it’s eligible for photos. You have a great looking car. People notice. Be proud.

The cars are wide and low, and so they look exotic. Bring two together and it gets even crazier.

People take pics of my CE GS sometimes. It's kinda neat. People have no idea that these cars cost less than a new f150..

Your car is pretty cool. I would think it would draw more attention than most.
Those photos are probably on that guys Facebook page now so his old high school friends will think he bought a Corvette.

It happens all the time.

Rarely, does it raise my radar, but once in awhile, it catches my attention. On my "05, a man walked into a tree looking over his shoulder looking at the car in oldtown Annapolis .

On the stingray, the most blatant was an ambulance on a run with lights flashing, but the gal in the right side took picks of us (2014) because, evidently the car was more interesting than the poor soul in the back.

I live in Vegas and every time I drive down the strip I get tourists taking pictures. Especially if I'm first in line at a red light.

Or at least on face book with someone claiming the car is theirs.

So the real question, when you where watching the guy take photo's, did he just happen to be close enough to the windshield to take a photo of the vin label as well?

Happens all the time; I've even had guys come up after I've parked and ask if they could take a picture of with their girlfriend/wife next to it. Always tell them to go for it, they just can't lean or sit on it and, if they are carrying a purse, it needs to be to side away from the car, I've even let people sit in it while I took a picture for them, kids seem to get the biggest kick out of it.

I can see why people take photos. Happens to me sometimes also. Every time I open the hood people want to take photos.

First thing I noticed was your brick. Same as mine.

It does happen, I'm usually fine with it unless some idiot touches the car. I've had some dumbasses try to sit on it. Usually I park when I go to work in front of where my friend sits and he has them bugger off. It's really annoying when they do that.

This was my thoughts after he took so many. I did have the top off & saw him leaning over taking pics of the interior as well

Unlike the common red or black or silver color, yours is unique. Looks great!

Jabcat's car looks AWESOME! Can see why it gets noticed.

Unfortunately, doesn't happen where I live. Corvettes are hardly noticed. But, here in North Scottsdale, it's nothing to see just about any exotic you can name running around the streets every day; especially, starting this time of year. Snowbirds are returning to their winter retreats where very expensive, real exotic cars have been sitting in garages here all summer long waiting their return.
