• Amber lights will only come on for the turn signal/hazards
• ”flash-to-pass” will work like normal and will not require the low beams to be on prior
• These lights will function identically to the OEM C7 headlights with this harness

The harness is to give the headlights the operation that customers want. They work well and currently do exactly what the BCM is telling them to do. This harness is to trick the lights into C7 functionality.

This is just passing it along at cost opposed to a $150 mark up seen elsewhere. I imagine future sets will have this addressed but the early purchasers still need this available as an option should they choose to have the lights function differently. Plenty of customer with them do not plan to buy the harness because they are happy with how the lights function.

It is just an option catering to a specific preference. There's nothing wrong with the lights - this is just making something available to please all parties.

Received these today. Disconnected original harness that had white L on continuously (combined with amber sticks for DRLs). Installed new harnesses received for C7 functionality for G1 headlights. Not working, in that the turn signal does not disable white L while on, nor does flash to pass work without headlights on low beam. Can't say for sure about DRLs because it's too dark outside to use DRLs, will know about those in the morning. Not hopeful by what I'm seeing per other stated functionality.

Anyone else received these yet that can verify a successful install / functionality?

It seems that per an early email, the fuse tap harness will still be needed (contrary to what was originally relayed to me).
Waiting to hear back for more info regarding the flash to pass but it seems that the DRL will function properly with the fuse-tap harness still connected. Apologies for the confusion here.

So, do we need another harness for these to work? I haven't installed mine yet waiting on things to get right. Just want to do the job one time

Can't say for sure yet. Waiting to hear back from a couple of parties on what exactly the case is. Sorry for all of the confusion here - I will update as soon as I have answers.
