Is anybody else experiencing a white chalk like residue on the black section of the inside door panels? I have cleaned the door panels numerous vynal and leather cleaners and it takes it off easily but it just repears after a couple of weeks.

It's from the vinyl off-gassing. My 2012 Centennial does it, but only after many months; it wipes off for me with a damp towel. I don't like to use any kind of "dressing" material on the interior as it usually ends up causing hazing on the inside of the windows.

If you don't like the shine from vinyl/rubber dressings try Mequires natural protectant. It just adds a little bit of luster, but no shine.......Works well.

My 2012 CE has it on the drivers side door panel. My 2009 Z06 also had it on the drivers side door panel. I've tried everything I can think of , but nothing stops it from coming back. Damp cloth is probably the best bet, but it always comes back. Looks pretty crappy .

303 didn't work for me. It will disappear for a week but comes back. Also tried Adams VLT, Griots, and most others. Be interested if there's a permanent solution.

Thanks all for the response. The picture is exactly where I get it, but for me it mostly on the drivers side. At least I know it is not just my vette, Easy to clean off so that is the good news.
