Radio - changes memory channel after a while
After several minutes my preferred memory channel 4, goes to memory 1. Doesn't seem to do this on other memories, and doesn't go back to 4 either. Any ideas? (its a 2011)

Maybe, a few more details as to what exactly is happening, how and when, would be helpful.
Memory? As in driver number? as in radio presets? Which radio do you have?
How old is your car battery?

Melting Slicks
When I bought mine it would randomly change channels, time zones & other weird things. Fortunately still had a little bit of warranty and the local dealer replaced the head unit under warranty. Good thing because the price (with NAV) was absurd.

What is your skill set, hence do you have enough talent to pull the radio out, and pull the face plate to clean such with electrical spray cleaner (same for steering wheel controls if that is the problem) or are you going to have to pay for someone to pull the radio out of the car, then send the radio in for repair isntead.
If you have to pay a shop, bank in the $800 to pull the radio, send it to a radio shop to clean the button in the end. If GM dealer, then will want to install a new radio, and that will be in the thousands instead.
If you have the tallent or someone local that can give you hand, Bobs your uncle in about 30 mins with it completed for free isntead (pizza and bear if you have to involve a friend to give you a hand instead).

Sounds like a perfect excuse to upgrade the radio. I know if my radio shows any signs of malfunctioning I’m replacing it with a unit with front and rear cameras, and radio apps like my other cars. I currently have the stock navigation system in mine..
