The centennial package was simply a $5k appearance package & nothing else. They were also the most produced across the line of GS, Z06 & ZR1 making them the least rare color option on any of those models. Rare or limited edition models bring higher prices, while this sounds like a great car, I would say it’s about $5-6k to high.
Torch Red beat it by 65.

Reading is fundamental. He said most produced for GS, Z06, ZR1. You included "base" coupes and convertibles.

But it would be interesting to see the break out by color as all I can find is this for 2012 production numbers:
- 2012 TOTAL (All) / Centennial Editions
- Grand Sport Corvette Coupe 5,056 / GS Coupe: 1,040
- Grand Sport Corvette Convertible 2,268 / GS Vert: 528
- Z06 Corvette 478 / Z06: 195
- ZR1 Corvette 404 / Zr1: 206

Sounds high...but if you like it, only you can decide if its worth it to you. My Dad has a Callaway Centennial GS (auto) w/ 19/20 OZ racing wheels in matte black. Awesome car...it may find its way into my stable some day.

Right it was a $5k pkg that gave you the paint, badges, interior, etc. That doesn't equate to $10k resale over a comparable model without that package. By the production numbers the Centennial Edition is the least rare C6 of that year, doesn't matter if one thinks it's rare, it isn't. The '96 GS was individually numbered with only a set # made. I'm not disagreeing that special edition cars hold a little bit more value than their non-special edition counterparts, I've owned several & my wife currently owns a special limited edition Jeep Wrangler. My '99 Hugger Orange Camaro SS hardtop, 6-speed was 1 of 3 documented by GM & SLP. I got maybe $2k more when I sold it than other similarly equipped & condition SS's.
Corvette owners & Jeep owners are very similar in that they think their cars are the holy grail of their respective segment and somehow never lose value. I currently own both, and have owned many, many cars over the years. Throw a lift and some new wheels on a Jeep with 40k miles and all of a sudden owners think they can sell it for $5k more than original MSRP. My wife totaled her previous special edition Jeep. Could not find a single one for sale across the country to replace it and/or compare values for the insurance adjuster. It got me $2500 more on the totaled value than a comparable non-special edition model even though the package was close to $7k. Throw a couple special edition badges on a Corvette and the price jumps $10k.
So back to my original opinion, (the OP asked for opinions). There are plenty of low mileage '12 GS's being sold in the low to mid $30k range, so I stand by my opinion that this car is about $5k over-priced. $40k would probably be the max that I would pay for it.

I just paid 43 for a 427

And how many miles did it have on it? Did it have an extra set of wheels and the Xpel? I like the 427, especially the white with gray stripes, but I like the Centennial treatment better. I'd say the values are pretty comparable with the extras on the Centennial.

I paid less than that for a vert, 42k last summer, however mine had higher mileage. On the used market mileage adds more value than modifications, etc. It seems like a fair price, it's not a bargain, If you din't mind higher mileage you can save a few grand if you keep looking. The one thing about the CE that I like is there are very few around. All of the Corvette shows I have gone to and I have only seen one other one.

I paid much less for mine in nearly identical (6k more miles) nearly two years ago. I’d suggest the asking price is 4-5k over a realistic street value. There is value in the extras, that’s for you to decide... there are many more out there

There's no way to know. GM doesn't combine multiple options for production numbers so you won't see 1 of XX with Y and Z.

I've put a few miles on it too.

I believe it is priced too high depending on the market unless you are in CA or something. Maybe if it had 4LT and auto (more option price) but not as is. Probably someone fishing for a deal, testing the market. Yes, it has very low miles, maybe less than 2 tanks of gas per year.
There are very few C6s that are rare. I have a 60th Anniversary Grand Sport, loaded with just about every option. Last November I paid $31.5k for it. Yes, it did have 46k miles on it and needed some work but almost 50% less than this car.
Will the CE become a collectible someday? Yes, 20-30 years. I don't know if the 3LT would though. MSRP doesn't matter in the used car market and if a CE owner paid that much then they are fools.
Maybe $40k for this car. Some owners like to think their cars are valued more but market determines the price.

They really are nice cars. Well equipped and somewhat unique with the blacked out look. Low miles, two tops, two sets of wheels. Sounds like a good package. Good luck.
