Welcome to the CE club! You are going to love it. I went for what may be the last drive this year with the top down yesterday afternoon.

Congrats on the new car! Sometimes getting the right car and paying a little more is more better than agonizing over a few dollars.

I have a highly optioned 2012 GS convertible and just love it. The color is fantastic in the sunlight. This is my 6th Corvette and they just keep getting better.

I bought my base Centennial this past Feb., and absolutely love it. I have yet to see another here in Vegas. As others said, I think he is over-priced by maybe $4K, but.... a standard 2012 GS, all the same except not a CE model, would probably go for around $40/$41. The CE was a $5,000 option, so his price is not waaaay out of line. Still, I don't think he will find many buyers for a 2012 that is priced the same as a 2105/16 Stingray. You might offer him $41K, to find out how firm he really is. For most sellers, "firm" is like a firm mattress...there is still flexibility.

The centennial package was simply a $5k appearance package & nothing else. They were also the most produced across the line of GS, Z06 & ZR1 making them the least rare color option on any of those models. Rare or limited edition models bring higher prices, while this sounds like a great car, I would say it’s about $5-6k to high.
