Have you bought the blower yet? .... What blower do you have that needs an aftermarket higher hood?
Certainly not the Edelbrock 'E-Force' or the Magnuson 'Heartbeat' supercharger.
Both 'roots' style positive displacement superchargers.

Yep, the Edelbrock tvs-2300 , and the Magnuson 'Heartbeat' on the Ls3, will fit under the hood without needed mods to the hood.
Hell, most centrifugal supercharger kits will fit under the stock hood as well.
It just the older magy tvs-23000 on the LS2 that required a higher hood so the hood can close isntead.
So on that note, if you want to go with the maggy, wait a bit since they are working on a bottom plate that will allow the newer Heartbeat to fit on the LS2,and will still fit under the stock hood.
Myself, would wait for the TVS-2675's to come out after market, and that will fit on a LS-2 instead. With the increase volume of that blower, snap to make 650HP that's not going to cause the blower to become a heat pump, and if your looking for 1KHP with meth kit for a roots blower that produced max torque just off idle (not having to wait for spool up), it's the ticket all the way.

Well, the TVS2300 SC is a 2.3 liter Eaton unit
So, I guess the TVS2675 would be 2.675 liter Eaton unit
That's my guess

Here you go, and the Eaton TVS-2675 is the super charger that is being used for the C7 ZR1 LT5, which will solve a great deal of heat soak problems that the C7 Z06 LT4 is having with the smaller blower it uses (R1740, and not even the TVS-2300 that was used on the C6 ZR1 LS9 motor).
http://www.eaton.com/Eaton/ProductsS...2650/index.htm
So the missing link currently, is just the bottom plate to bolt the eaton TVS-2675 blower onto a LS type motors.
Same with the Heatbeat to a LS2 block as well.
Note, on a LS9 motor, you can get 26lb of boost out of a TVS-2300, but with the blower over spun to dam near wash speeds at full RPM, its going to create a lot of heat at those speeds and pressure. With the 2675, you don't need to spin it as fast for say 26 lbs (will make even more pressure that) so way less heat isntead.
So with tvs-2300, its the Oem motor limits, and heat the blower is going to create to generate/spun to created 650HP, that you don't want to push past isntead.
As for the TVS series, Edelbrock uses the same Eaton units they supply to GM for the oem S/C motors, then makes the bottom bolting plate, and creates the needed parts to install it pretty much turn key.
Maggys approach instead.

Good luck making 1000 rwhp with a roots blower in a vette.
If you want big power go with a centi. If you think it has to "spool up" you have never driven one.

Not to mention they typically aren't big into making blowers for older platforms. Market just isn't there. They may one day have one for a Gen 5 setup, but you will be waiting a long long time for a gen 4 setup, especially a vette one that would probably have serious clearance issues.
Back to the OP question, I ordered the sigala hood. Josh B has one, so do a few others. Fitment is decent. No aftermarket hood I've seen is just bolt on and go.

No luck needed to make 1k RWHP, just good build plans. And having 800ftlbs at 3k rpm is something the centri can’t do, you know, for us stock torque converter guys...

Former Vendor
The Magnuson TVS2650 is coming out shortly and we have 3 on order for stock. As soon as they become available we will have some to offer. We already have some customers ready for install as soon as it releases. There's been a ton of interest in the 2650 and it will not disappoint. However, the 2300 is also an impressive system. Our Stage X package with the TVS2300, ARH Long Tubes, AFE intake, thermostat, and tune has been proven to go 9.7's. If anyone is looking for either system, we are a warehouse distributor for Magnuson and are their recommended installers for the east coast. We'd be more than happy to answer any questions you may have related to Magnuson or any other performance enhancements. Call 732-349-7800 or email tunetimemedia@gmail.com
