Default GPS Disc upgrade

Is there an upgrade disc available for a 2013 Grand Sport? If so, does anyone have experience with it and is it worth the money? Thank you.

The last update was in 2016 part # 23286274 version 10
It is likely the last updated Nav DVD for the C6 vehicles.
There are some on the e store for less than $20.00 compared to GM Nav Division price of $179.00

I did get a free update from GM for the latest version, but there is a long story behind it.

The version 10 has all the road and highways finished in 2015. There are many new POI's (restaurants, gas stations, hotels etc.) added to this update.
If you use the C6 OEM Nav, then it is worth it.

the $20 "e" versions are copies, and generally are not worth the empty disc they were made on. As for, "is it worth it?" My answer is "NO!". Very few updates to highways make it onto these discs until they have been operational for several years. If you were using a disc from '08, it would be worth it, but given that you have a '13, the one from 2016 will be very little diff.

I updated my original DVD a few times over the years. The Version 9 (2013) did not have a newly constructed highway in my zone, finished in 2013, but it does have that highway on the 2016 version 10 DVD.
I have an original v 10 DVD, and I made a copy for my everyday usage to keep the original scratch free. A copy will indeed work as well as the original if it is copied on a Verbatim DVD with Nero Express program.
If it wasn't of the HUD integration with the OEM Nav, I would of likely bought an aftermarket built in unit.
I have a Garmin in my other vehicle, but I would never use it in the C6, because it's a stand alone unit.

It's like everything else, it's a personal matter what you have or use in your vehicles.

Ordered the E copy for 8-9 bucks the other day as the one I nmy 07 is original does not even have my home street on it. we will see.

Back in 2008 or so I had a copied version from a forum member and it worked just like a factory one.

Let us know how it works. I've had no issues with the one I copied for myself from the original.

Yep, Came in the mail. my 2007 Z06 ad the original Version 3.0 in it... ejected, put in the version 10.0 I got for 8 bucks shipped.. and bam, my street is there. working fine and new food places showing up at POI as well. The GPS is old and dated. BUT for the most part, it does get you out of random places with the home button and or when looking for street to get around traffic, or on trip when you just want a count down timer and mileage left kind of deal. <9bucks delivered and all updates.
