Default Caliper Covers?? Yes or No?

I'm considering caliper covers on my white '10 Grand Sport convertible. They look pretty nice and are MUCH less expensive than changing to powder coated calipers.
What are your thoughts?
Any problems with covers?
Thanks.

They look cheap and cheesy. Do yourself a favor and either paint or powder coat your calipers. You'll be much happier with the end result.

As said above they look cheap and cheesey. Beside, your grand Sport has what those are trying to mimic!

You can have your calipers powder coated for less money than those funky covers. I just had a set powder coated for $125.00. I did the caliper removal and re-installation myself.

They look worst then the factory calibers my opinion, get them powder coated or wrapped if you just want something different.

Painting calipers is the way to go- looks much better and "natural". I bought a paint kit for my calipers or you can have them professionally powder coated- either way much better look than the fake calipers.

I was planning on powder coating but the car I ended up buying already had covers, no complaints here.

You should get rid of the Vette and buy an F150; you would fit in well over there. The majority of those guys think caliper covers are the greatest thing since sliced bread, and that painted calipers look like crap! 💩

Honda Civic, Ford Escort, Toyota Camry, Ford F150, Nissan Altima......look good with caliper covers. Corvette, NO!
(Actually, those cars listed look like crap with them too).

I’m
Never on a five spoke but reasonable on a busy wheel. I have them untill I swap to a nicer rotor and paint the calipers in the spring

Bought my 2007 Base in Oct 2017, caliper covers were removed Oct 2017. Sold em here for 50 bucks and bought a tank of gas
