I sold exact car with 62k miles for 17grand. Looked like it had 20k miles, brand new top, brand new michelins, original perfect paint. This one, 22 is the number I would pay if I wanted it.

He's FIRM at $26,900 - so I walked...
Such a shame cause this C6 is super super clean, really low miles, and to twist the knife even further, my wife was BEYOND in love with it. I just can not spend $4000 over value on a 14 year old "toy". If we were $1000 apart, even $1500 I would just bite the bullet for her...but that amount is way too much.
FYI - She tried a few manual C6's and just was too nervous driving stick...so an auto is a must have for her.[/QUOTE]
Let it sit for awhile and go back and check in with them. As it gets closer to year end, they will drop the price instead of paying the taxes on it. Also, since your driving a C7, you could probably afford to buy it now. HAHA

I would sit and wait for a call back. More than likely they will follow up with you and perhaps be willing to negotiate down to a more reasonable price. They will be hoping they have you hooked on it, and that you will come crawling back to agree to their asking price. I don’t see it selling quickly at $27k, so I’d sit back and grab a beer and wait for them to get back in touch.
You have to be willing to lose the car if you play that hand, but I think given their asking price it won’t be selling overnight.

I bought my 05 1SB, for 25,000, five years ago with 18,000 miles on it.
You did good to walk away, lets see if they call you with a offer!
