Default Just a General Comment - What an AWESOME MACHINE!

I've been a Corvette worshipper for decades, and bought my first one - a base, 6-speed, LS3-powered 2008 exactly 11 months ago.
Since then I've done the following:
  1. Vararam "wedge" throttle body spacer
  2. SLP Loudmouth axle-back exhaust
  3. Diablosport inTune i3 tune
  4. Added rear carbon fiber spoiler
  5. Kenwood head unit / audio / backup camera
  6. Front curb alert sensor
This beast is my daily driver. I've owned 47 other vehicles in my life, and I have NEVER, EVER been so satisfied. HUGE power, and excellent MPG.
What a rocket!!! Drove it about 20,000 miles in the last 11 months, and I still eagerly climb into the driver's seat. It's nice to forget groceries, so I can go back to the store.

Sorry. Just stating the obvious, since y'all own one (or more) also.

Just always be thankful. We turn into spoiled brats if we're not.

Did you notice any difference with the Vararam power wedge? I noticed they are on sale and have heard good and bad. The bad worries me more than the good interests me. Congrats on the awesome ride!

I did a little research, and the basics of adjusting / maximizing the airflow into the intake made sense. I never read anything bad about it.
Not sure if I noticed a big difference. Never dyno'd the car, do I have no factual data. I just made sense to me to install it, and I feel confident I've maximized the airflow into my stock intake.

You are driving it ? 20,000 miles already ? That’s crazy. Put it in the garage and lick it. Don’t drive it. Dayum.

Wait until 3 years later and your used to the power. Then the fun continues even more. Never enough mods.

Look's a lot like my '05'. I've enjoyed mine for almost 14 years now and it's been great. Enjoy.

How do you like the loudmouth exhaust? Is it the 1 or 2?

My 2011 Base M6 daily driver. Makes me wish my commute was longer. Car came equipped with NPP exhaust which I run open all the time. Itís been street tuned by Tampa Tuning (thanks Phil) and I added a Callaway Honker CAI. A Pioneer Head Unit with back up camera replaced the stock stereo. Thankful everyday to own it.

I had fun with my Corvette, but I wouldn’t say it’s awesome. It was a great car, but not quite awesome.
