This looks to me like someone wanted a Ferrari, but couldn't afford one.

Use the money and skill you used to turn that Corvette into an abortion, and go buy a Ferrari.

Not that bad, but I think the styling cues are many years out of date for a modern Corvette. I'd have to research it but I wonder what the background of this car is?

Berlinetta wannabe. Pretty though, in my opinion.

The 2009 Las Vegas SEMA show provided the background for the SV Motor Company’s unveiling of the SV9 Competizione, designed by Cameron Dempsey of Corvid Technologies in conjunction with Pratt & Miller engineering and ANSA Automotive. Based on the 2009 Chevrolet Corvette Coupe, the SV9’s carbon-fiber bodywork featured modified front styling with fixed headlights and a protruding grille, and at the rear, single tail lights and outboard-mounted exhaust, all inspired by the uniquely Italian Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione coupe. Beneath its carbon-fiber skin, the SV9 featured the LS3 376/430 HP V-8 amidst more carbon-fiber trim, a 4-speed automatic transmission, upgraded suspension and 4-wheel disc brakes. The interior has been transformed with abundant use of luxurious Burgundy and Cream leather upholstery, and it features dual-zone air conditioning, touch-screen navigation display and custom instrumentation. Priced at $99,995, the SV9 conversion was planned for 1,000 Corvettes; only four were completed before the company folded, making these specially built Corvettes rare indeed.

Kinda like a halloween costume for a C6, and kinda like Halloween itself which lasts for one day and then it's over.

Hard to believe the company folded when they were putting out cream puffs like this!

Don't confuse effort with results...this is a clear case. I knew a guy who cut the back of the top of his SW off and made it a pickup. Actually did a great job. A year later, he wanted to sell it,but there were no buyers, even at giveaway price. A few years later, he wound up towing it to the junk yard.

This Vette will not wind up in the junkyard, and someone may actually pay a high price for it, but people will not be banging down the door to buy it.

My first thought was I would only pay bottom dollar, but then I reflected, and realized that I would not want to be caught dead driving that.

For those who might be curious, this car ended up selling for $32k. It was part of the Arbell Brown collection, and appears his wife and daughter(s) sold off a huge part of, if not all, of the collection as they were rolling across the block for over an hour that I saw.

Confused by the description ... says it was based on a 2009 C6 but lists a "4-speed automatic transmission" ... seems like s step backward from OEM, especially since there was no HP boost. Still, a lot of work obviously went into the conversion, even if it is not for most of us.

Best guess, and since it a 06 with a 4 speed trans (guess out of a 05), this car started off as a savage title car.

So real question, is the frame still straight, or is the frame alone a nightmare to begin with.
Also, with A4, this means that the car is running a E-40 ecm, with A4 tcm behind it, so any electric module programming, and you have to treat the car likes it an 05 module.

So 06 frame that may or may not be straight, 05 ecm and trans, and as for the rest of the modules on the car, guess work at best. Then we get into body work, and since most of it is a one off, good luck getting replacement panels, or every having someone repair them either.

Bottom line, it like the rest of the start up companies that are building HP cars every year, with very, very few of the companies making it past their first year. Hence no dealer/repair support when needed to start with, and with the company de-funked by their second year, no way in hell to get parts down the line as well.
