OP here, still reading...I can't believe where this has gone. To quote that famous man from LA..."Why can't we all just get along"? Thing is, I don't think I bashed the C7, just stated it wasn't for me...Oh well it's been interesting reading.

New to the neighborhood and thanks for having me. A few months ago I traded my base C6 for a Z06 and I am in absolute bliss. I've been threatened with a C7 for my upcoming retirement but we can't afford a C7 Z06. Having said that is there a drop off from my C6 Z06 if I got to a used C7 Stingray or Grand Sport? Parting with 505hp to acquire 460hp has me wondering if it's worth it.

all depends, a lot of nice featurs on the C7, and I just stepped back from 505 cammed C7 to a 750hp boosted C6Z... and power is way better ha, the drive to work is still nice but its not the C7, with Bluetooth, and new insides.
