Grand Sport Hash Marks
Quick question about hash marks on a C6 Grand Sport
If car was order with Heritage Package, hash marks on the fenders were added.
My question is do you feel the hash marks if put hand across? Or are the under layers of clear ?
I have a 2010 Grand sport and thinking of adding hash marks to it.
Wondering if i should have it cleared over them?
Thanks Guys

They are added after the paint...……………. will feel them if running hand/fingers across lightly, although they are not too thick.

Thank you
anyone put them on yourselves? Or is it worth finding a place to do it?
Doesnt seem to tough bout at almost 400.00 for OEM decals I’d rather be careful
thanks again

I made my own and put them on myself. It was a cakewalk. Theres plenty of less expensive aftermarket alternative stripes.

They're decals, you can feel them.

Yes you feel them, I would not clear over.
FWIW I'd buy after market, easy to change color till you find the ideal color/ art combo. $400 EOM cost ouch.
IMO Install with prober lubrication and tools is easy at home project.
Enjoy your project.

Yes you can feel the decal. Mine were dealer installed. I like the looks of mine but some color combinations are hideous. Just make sure you see the decal/paint combo on another car first.

The OEM type has a little C-6 flag in the corner if that make it any easier to decide which one, aftermarket or GM. I happen to think they add a bit of flavor to the GS and like them a lot But then as they say its your car right ?

The OEM ones come on a backing that has cut outs that align with the headlights and fender so you can line them up. I know they are expensive but I think they look nice. In my opinion the after market ones look cheap and scream fake. They are also not hard to install.

I used Vette-stripes.com and the quality is exceptional. They have great instructions and videos on line and Mike is available to speak to on his cell! Can’t praise them enough.

I think it all depends on the color. I've never seen any on the Velocity Yellow that I like. I like mine fine without.
What I really don't like is a non-GS with the hash marks.
