Where is a good place to buy this part aftermarket or just the solenoid. Driver side door switch exterior and interrior will activate the window to drop down, but latch won't open unless I use either emergency release.

Original latch part# is 088956758 (non-remote entry). Where's a good place to start looking for this part from an aftermarket source. I don't want to pay GM $300 for this when I plan to sell/trade the car.

Are you sure you need new parts? There are quite a few DIY vids on YT that show how to dismantle and clean the contacts up on these.

So, i got the new lock mechanism in and it works when the door is open. I can close the door once and it works. After that...nothing. Ideas?
