Wet or Dry Sump question

Wet or Dry Sump question
This may have been covered in the past and I just want to be sure I have the correct information before I order some custom part. I have a 2012 GS, LS3, automatic, coupe. Do I have a wet or dry sump oil? Sorry if this is dumb question.

Takes 5 1/2 quarts of oil to bring it to the full mark on the stick, once it has been restarted and then allowed to cool.
At least on my 2011 GS / Automatic

Easy way to tell, is if your battery is in the back, it's a dry sump. if it's in the front, it's a wet sump.
Doesn't get simpler on t he C6 gen than this.
