Default Tired of dash reflection on windshield...

I am really sick-and-tired of the super annoying reflection of my C6 dash onto the inside of the windshield. I cannot believe that in this age of technology in materials and general engineering progress, we all just drive around like a bunch of dufasses putting up with this horrible visual annoyance.

Mine has never been polished with shine products or anything, yet it still reflects like a mirror when the sun hits it just right.

Surley there is a flattening rub or something that can be applied to the dash plastic to minimize this. Maybe an acid rub wash or something that will etch it or something. Or a formed thin skin of felt or matte finish that can be applied with an adhesive or something.

Lets fix this! Come one folks... throw out some ideas.

Had mine for over 14 years and it's never been a problem for me so I can't help you. Good luck!

I never had an issue with a reflection until I used a product other than soap and water on the dash.

Haven't you only had the car for a year? Are you sure nothing has been used on it? What have you used to clean it?

Never was a problem for me on any of the 5 C6 coupes I had. Something unexpected is causing that. Hope you find it.

Polarized sunglasses handled it for me. Never thought is a design flaw. My other cars do the same.
$50.00 can fix your problem.

I'd cover with alcantara to reduce glare personally.

I've gotten use to it. I've had my car for a little over a year, and don't notice it at all anymore.

I can't help but almost laugh at this. I live in Vegas, where there is sun 340 out of 365 days, and have NEVER noticed my dash reflection in an annoying manner. OP must have a reflective covering of some sort he is not aware of. Maybe too much armor-all? Maybe a full-tint windshield? IDK

Meow-ser! That's one natty looking *****!

When I was a kid, aside from building model cars, I also did animals. I had a more-or-less full-size panther head plastic model on a wall mount and I painted it black. I wish I still had it, but my mom threw it out along with all my other models after I left home.
