I don’t see the stock grille insert. Possibly hooks were used to attach screen when traveling to reduce bug and trash plugging the cooling system or when car was trailered behind another vehicle? Not stock - that’s for sure.

I’m concerned that with the custom floor mats and decal that they vehicle was a special edition reworked by the dealer to hide its history. Those hooks could have been associated with competitive water skiing, or worse yet tubing. Brutal on the vehicle and catastrophic as we know for the 05 rear end, we’ll known for its glass like differential.

I think that they might be deer alerts. i had them on a goldwing bike i used to ride. hard to tell from the pic.

the guy that owned the car before yo had some insecurities. He added an adjustable "racing" splitter, stripes and mats with a racing theme, and probably other stuff which the dealer removed. Take off the stupid eye bolts, and enjoy your car.
