Hey all,

I’m in a small pickle... Recently moved to the Queen City and developed an oil leak on my ‘12 Centennial Edition Grand Sport M6. I’m looking for a reputable dealer with certified Corvette Mechanics. I have a GMPP and am hoping for warranty work to be done. Any suggestions in the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky area for quality work?

Thanks in advance and Happy New Year!

Hey man. Welcome to the natty. I have a gs as well and when it comes to factory stuff google Danny Papp. He works for McCluskey Chevrolet. He has worked on mine and also races them. Just google him and you’ll see what I mean.

McCluskey has been recommended to me also but I have never had to use them yet. I know they have at least 1 other 'vette certified tech on staff. If you are in N KY I would not recommend Tom Gill.

I've seen Danny Popp's name before on these pages by "starr1" several years ago, so he is well-recommended. Plus, for information it is "Popp" for his last name unless Lingenfelter got it wrong..

Here's a write up on him on Lingenfelter's website. https://www.lingenfelter.com/blog/tag/danny-popp/

Danny Popp is the man when it comes to corvettes. Repairing them and driving them.
Hes a good friend who we race with year round in the Optima series
a few pics of him winning the GoodGuys Scottsdale Az and winning the OUSCI in Vegas.

AORoads you have a good memory...that post "was" several years ago. I still have my '08 Z06 that Danny took care of. Right before my warranty expired Danny found that my valve guides were 3 times out of spec. He fixed the problem but I got caught in the middle of dispute between Danny and his employer concerning the number of hours allocated to repair my heads. It wasn't Danny's fault but my car sat far longer than it should of. I was able to resolve the issue with Danny and get my car back on the road. Car runs great but I need to have Danny check my valve guides again!

Welcome to Cincinnati!! I use McCluskey Chevrolet in the Kings auto mall, I am not sure but I think Danny Popp works at another location, but I highly recommend Larry, the tech at Kings. He is the only vette tech there so it does take about a month to get in. (summer) It may not take long to get in this time of year!

You mean in the fall when they meet at Drees Pavillion and take pic's with Cincy in the background?
