THANKS Tony! Attachment 48331950 Glad to hear you chime in -- as usual. Let the unknowing fools fish their wires through the windows, doors, hood, etc. while we simply snap the connector on and walk away.

I like the Genius Noco. I run the cable through the side grille and just leave it tucked in there when not in use. Other end is permanently mounted to engine pos and neg connections. I have forgotten to unplug and it just slips right off. Second to a magnetic connection.

Don't think I'm a fool because I open the door so there is no need to fish it.

But keep in mind, some of these guys have been doing the same thing for years and years.......with no problems.....Naturally, if the same ole stuff works, why change, huh?

Whether this method or that method "works" isn't the point -- convenience is the point. I *always* hook it up during driving season because it's no effort. Get out of the car, snap it on, and walk away. If I had to dick around with the window/door/hood, half the time I wouldn't (didn't) bother hooking it up.

But whatever, back to the horse/water thingy.

ummm...horses and buggies worked. For those comfortable with horses and buggies, a horseless carriage didn't make sense.

What are the magic key words to find the magnetic snap-on grill charger thingy - as googling it doesn't find it, tried Snap-ons website too.

Help a horse brother out that wants to drink...

Default Ctek

I use the ctek3300. And plug into cigarette lighter. I leave my car for 2 months at a time. No problems after sitting for 2 months. My zr1 has notches in the door seal. I use that to route the charger cord.
