Talk about bad luck! Maybe the old saying "The 3rd time's a charm" will end it for you.

Wow, sorry to hear Ed. Well, as said, things happen in threes so hopefully you're good now!

On the AM, I've been shopping a DB9 for about 6 months now. Haven't found the right one yet. Maybe when you get here we can combine resources and see if we both can come up with one Vantage and one DB9. Are you looking for an auto, or a manual?

I just turned 71, and I live in a area loaded with retirees, and I even call them the driving dead! You hear ambulance sirens every day.

What does this have to do with Ed’s car getting hit ?

Driving ability in DFW has steadily declined over the years, as I suspect it has most places. The advent of cell phones has only steepened the descent. As long as driving is treated like a right instead of a privilege the problem will likely persist. I grew up driving in South Texas, which is more or less like driving in a destruction derby, and remember marveling at how great the drivers were in Dallas when I came up here to school in 1970.

Bold statement there. Insurance information on crash data says otherwise. https://www.iihs.org/iihs/topics/t/g...state-overview

Just got back from having my car looked at by the other guy's insurance. Snapped a quick pic:

The plate probably isn't helping you at all. People probably see that and want to f*ck with you based on that alone.

If I were you I’d just leave the bumpers as they are until you get out of state. Might be another of us crappy Texas drivers waiting for you in the next parking lot

Most people love my plate. I have people taking pics of it all the time, laughing while they're doing it. Even the lady I filed my claim with laughed when I told her my plate number, and said she loved it.
