Default GS fronts on rear?

Can I use my GS front wheels on the rear? I would like to use them for drag radials.

you can, they fit, about 2" inside the wheel well, would look stupid, but you probably don't care about that.

You will probably cause active handling issues if you are not careful and keep close to the same front/rear ratios that you currently have.

your front tires are 2" narrower, and 1" shorter than your rears. You seem to be ignoring the importance of contact surface. While a narrower tire has a smaller contact surface, so does a shorter tire. If you want to improve traction, get drag radials for the rear wheels. The wider tread and greater diameter have a better contact surface.

Possibly, you can't find drag radials to fit the rears. If that is the case, open that question up to the forum. I certainly would not go to a narrower and shorter tire expecting better traction.

would you use the stock size front tire on that wheel? If not, what tire do you plan on using? I know people use 15” or 16” wheels and put taller tires on the rear for traction. Is that what you’re trying to do by using 18” wheels?

I guess I should have been more clear. My intention was to use the 18s for drag radials only. Not for any other reason.

Most likely ill just sell the gs wheels and tires and buy a nice drag pack.

Thanks for the inputs.
