Had anyone else had issues with the windows indexing properly when temperatures drop into the low single digits / around 0 degrees fahrenheit?

Seems like once a year when the temperatures drop near 0 I have issues opening and closing the doors due to it not fully indexing. Once the car warms up the issue goes away.

I've seen the windows freeze and be physically capable of rolling down, but that's it.

I wouldn't think it would be a battery issue if there is enough power to start the car, but i have seen odder issues. The battery is from 2013, though this was v an issue even when that battery was new.

I always just chalked it up to ice in the past since usually it's been very icey in past years I've had it happen, but this morning it didn't seem like there had been any precipitation. Because I second guessed that and I thought I would ask the forum.

I guess it could be a connection issue. I should mention I did replace the window switch to to try to fix it but that didn't work. I might try the fuse.

My C6s always sat under an open air carport. My windows froze up a few times. Read the other thread for the solution.

I saw it I can get the door open, and I was doubting if it s due to ice since even once cleared around the edges it stays like that till the heat warms up in the car. I added the fuse part in my follow up post because someone had "fuse?" but it was never followed up if that worked .

I guess I took it for granted his car was in a garage which would lead to my statement. Beyond the shadow of any doubt if there is any amount of ice buildup it can be impossible to roll a window down.

Credit card will fix that problem. Put it between the glass and the insulation on the door next to the glass.

Obviously, drag the credit card all the way around the window extremities, between the insulation and the window.

Good to know I'm not the only one. Does the credit card trick work for you or is there something else you do?
