Default C6 Z06 Corvette Go Kart (Mad Max) build

I've always wanted a bare bones Corvette Go Kart. I've had a bunch of other open wheel kit cars and they were a blast but I wanted something with easy access to parts and that could be fun in the canyons but still perform at the track. Also knowing myself there is no such thing as too much power so I wanted a platform that could handle big power.

I ended up finding a killer deal on a C6Z and made my move. I've torn it down and I'm working on the cage. I'm going to keep most of the interior AC, heat, radio, navigation, ect. I wanted something that was still "comfortable " to drive in the summer. I've designed the cage so that I can have that open wheel go kart feel but if rainy or cold weather comes up I can still put the doors and roof back on and then I'm going to get a piece of lexan cut for the back so I can close off the cabin.

What is this called? The Cleetus Mcfarland mod? https://www.youtube.com/user/GARRETTmitch

Looks like it will be a ton of fun once completed though!

Man I am so in for this build. I'm going to do the same thing but go a little further with it. I want to build one more like a sand car with minimal electronics because I plan to offroad it like a razr.

It's starting to look like an Ariel Atom or a Lotus Seven, short, fast and airy.
