I'm assembling all the parts to do pretty much the same thing with my new Pioneer HU. Thanks for all the helpful info and photos.

The one thing that puzzles me is:
While the rear camera is only turned on when in reverse does that mean the front camera is on continually while the ignition is on?
It appears to be that way in the Pyle instructions so it must be OK but I still wonder.

Any thoughts?

Most of the time the front camera is wired to be continuously on when the car is on. Shouldn't be an issue.

I would assume so, just make sure you wire the power to a switched circuit that goes off with the ignition, I believe the power
Outlet in the center console stays on

Same for the front the auto body molding mounting tape, in the center under the lip of the opening in front of the egg crate grill. It has a bracket that you can screw to the body, I chose the tape route, I have used it in the past and it sticks great. Just need to make sure you clean really well with alcohol. I fished the wire through the grill, I put it inside the high temp split loom in pic below, it protects the wires.

What size split loom? Looks like 1/4 inch would work, but not sure...

think I had about 3/4” as i have the av connectors inside too. I also taped the connectors together. Also only took it in that up to the door.
