Alternator cover > With photos
I am not that much into those stainless steel decorative engine covers, but one of our forum members posted a photo of his Z06 with a stainless alternator cover made by American Car Craft (ACC) here in Florida.
These covers are made from highly polished 304 stainless, but this forum member had one that had been powdercoated satin black and it looked pretty good on his LS7.
So, I purchased the same cover and painted it with a light texture / satin black color 'Rust-Oleum' rattle can ... turned out pretty neat and it matches the black color and texture of my Holley valve covers and the supercharger. These alternator covers fit all C6s except the LS9 engine ... I did have to modify mine with a cut-off wheel because of the supercharger that's on the car.

Kind of "Industrial" looking
What do ya think ??

Thank you everyone for your input ....
If I had unlimited funds, I could have installed one of those expensive, fancy-schmancy alternators that really look high tech ... then I would never need to cover it up.
But, since my OEM alternator works perfectly (car's only got 19,000 miles on it), I just can't justify replacing it ..... So, I just partially covered it up
