I do all the maintenance I possibly can. I've seen too many things go wrong on even the simplest jobs to trust someone else to do it unless they let me watch, and nobody wants to let you do that any more.

4 cars, a tractor, 2 mowers, 4 wheeler, 2 boats, jet ski, generator, power washer, and numerous small power tools with an engine.

I use Pennzoil Platinum (hard to find Ultra in stock locally) and a quality filter for the cars. I use full synthetic oil and lubes in everything.

I change mine on the Vette at home, only because it won’t fit on the racks at my shop. It almost always results in a mess and then I have to dispose the old oil. Pain in the rear. My Honda and my wife’s Lexus get done at my shop. Employee pricing for full synthetic 0w20 oil and filter change with a tire rotation at my shop is $25.88 tax in. Can’t do it at home that cheap! If only my Corvette would fit on the rack at my shop....

M1 and UPF48R. Dry sump. It's all about the angle of the dangle (complete drain) IMO...
