Fortunate to Have This Forum
As a lot of you know (maybe not) I recently bought a "sport truck", an SS454 1990. In doing so I have been looking at various forums for info because it aint perfect, so I need data. Well it isn't easy to find, most forums are seldom visited unlike the Corvette forums are so advice and how to's are few and far between, it makes it much more difficult to diagnose problems much less fix them.
In contrast I have found this forum and its members to be completely opposite, there is a wealth of info here and it is much appreciated believe me, be THANKFUL for what we have
Peace
NSF
PS here's a quickie of the red ***** lol

I agree with you NSF. The forum is a great asset for Corvette owners. We're not perfect, but this place makes it possible for owners to tackle almost any Corvette project or problem. A special thanks to all the members. I know I've picked up a lot of helpful information over my time here.
Edit: Fixed a spelling mistake before the grammar police got me. Phew, that was close!

Nice truck for sure.
I totally agree with NSF. This is the only forum that I have ever belonged to that one can actually get any help in a timely fashion. All others are well pale by comparison.
I'm on the Jeep forum, and asked a question 6 months ago, and still no answer. I found the answer myself on the internet, but it took some time.
Long live the CF

I'm fairly new to owning a Corvette and participating on this wonderful forum.
When I found this site I went back 500 pages in the C6 Tech/Performance section.
The corvette knowledge gained was formidable, and I'm grateful.

Sharp truck Bobby, I agree this forum is a wealth of info and help. Like you said other forums not so much, went on a chevy truck forum for my silverado and it looks like it's been deserted for the last year...guess I'll have to buy another vette to replace the silverado....

I agree, this Forum is a great asset.
OP, as to your issues with your new ride, maybe try asking your questions on your Regional Corvette Forum. I would be surprised if there aren't some Vette owners out there that have some expertise with your truck/etc.
Or maybe try Off Topic if you don't mind wading through all the snark.
Good luck with your very cool truck.

Beautiful truck! I've always been a fan of lowered GM trucks, ESPECIALLY the 454SS!! Wish i could find one local in good shape for a good price. I've been tossing around the idea of a non 454 and possible an LS install ..... someday ahhahaha

I think the vast majority try to help, and I know I have learned a lot. Try to pass it on when I can.

Nice looking truck. Even with the skinnies in the rear.
