Best options for cell phone/GPS Mount?
Hi
Wondering if anyone has come across a good mounting solution for their cell phone/gps on a C6 dash/center console? I have a 2011 Grand Sport, and have tried the phone holders that clamp onto the center air vent louvers, but the vent louvers inevitably lower due to the weight of the phone, and motion of the car, and the mount and phone fall off. I use the WAZE app a lot, and it's saved me plenty of tickets. Love my HUD, wish it had a next gen map in it.
Thanks!

I just got this during a recent trip down to Florida from the local Best Buy. I used it for the remainder of our trip plus the 2-day ride home and it worked fine. I don't use it everyday and haven't had it long but it seems to be made well and has plenty of adjustments for the phone. Good Luck... https://www.bestbuy.com/site/iottie-...?skuId=6220244

I installed a Panavise mount and really like it. You will need to buy the mount and an gripseparately however:
mount: https://www.panavise.com/index.html?...ECTIONSword=ww
adapter: Panavise PortaGrip Phone Holder with AMPS Adapter Plate
Very sturdy and out of the way. I like it a lot.

I have used a Pro clip, that just attaches to the right side of the dash, within seconds, and I use it for my GPS.

Pro Clip Mount
I use a pro-clip Mount in my C6 and it works perfectly.
You buy the car mount separately and then the phone mount and put them together.
here is a link with a pic of how it mounts: https://www.proclipusa.com/vehicle/d...-corvette/2007
Cheers,
Jeff

Maybe it's just me but.....I use the Navigation that came in the car.
If not, I use my cell phone GPS and just turn the GPS audio volume to max. Believe it or not, I can actually follow directions without a visual aid by listening to the audio commands. Imagine that? Hahaha

I bought a cheap cup phone holder from eBay ... Since my Kenwood audio head unit already has a built-in Garmin Nav, I just mount my phone in this cup holder when I want to monitor supercharger boost and ignition timing.
