Default Now I'm so happy

At first I was disappointed. Then I was so disappointed. But now, I am just so happy. It's warming up and the snowflakes are melting. Before long, I will be able get the vette on the road.

And to think, it was 85 degrees today, and the high for tomorrow (Tues) here in SW Florida is going to be 87 !

It was really no problem driving my C6 here today ...

I guess you didn’t get the memo. This is no place for happy sappy feelings.

Now will someone please close this thread and move it to the trash. Thanks.

I was ice skating on my driveway today. Seriously. We had snow, then ice, then snow on top, then freezing rain. The whole yard and driveway look like a zamboni ran over everything. Spring can't come soon enough.

It was the first dry 55 F day last week and I got the C6 out for my first ride in 2019. My 13 GS M6 fires right up after sitting since Thanksgiving. Takes a minute to look at all the beautiful gauges, check all the info controls. Out on the road I love the engines sounds and the power I forgot about, it’s really a high that only a Corvette can deliver. 50 miles later I put it back in the garage, waiting for the next nice day and do it all over again.... sweet.

Wife and I are itching to have a Spring Break down in Florida for a couple of weeks. Waiting for the roads between here and there to warm up so the Super Sport tires will work.

Freezing our butts down here in Phoenix recently. Got rain too. Highs only in the 60's last week and will be in the 50's this week. If this crap keeps up, I'm spending Winters in Australia.

I've got 5 feet of snow in my front yard and it's still snowing!!! My toy won't be out of the garage until April most likely.

. Tom. You might explain to those that do not know that Friday Harbor is on an island. Round and round you go. LOL

Glad for you jimijam, here in Montréal there's at least 2 months of winter remaining.

Now I'm disappointed! You mean we can't have anymore more touchy feely singing kumbaya moments?

On a positive note, I had to get a replacement fob key made at the Chevy dealer today, and had the top down. It's Sunny, and 88 in Tampa!

Nooo...maybe when I'm older I can move further south, but until then, have to wait until the snow melts.

I haven't had either of my Corvette's out for a good 5-7 weeks. Tonight is our third snow storm in the past 7 days - another 3"-5". I don't see either coming out of the garage for another 4 weeks. Have to wait for the snow to come, then melt, and then hopefully we'll have a rain storm to wash all the dirt/salt/junk off the roads...

I lived in San Diego for four years and just moved back to Missouri full time about 16 months ago. I really miss the nicer weather - even with their rain & chilly temps.

Your "round and round" has a whole new meaning here on the island now that they installed a worthless round about on the main street! lol

The rest of us only have 1 month (until March 20th) of Winter left. Then Spring is here. Check your calendar again.
