Default Option sheet?

Does anyone have a way to look up the options of a car by the vin number? My car is being stored so i don't have access to the sticker on door. I am mainly curious to know if it has the z51 package? It has drilled rotors and seems to have all the goodies inside. I am relatively new and was curious how to know?

The option package name is coded into the 5th character of the VIN since the 2010 model year. That's about all you can get from the VIN.

Looks like you have an 07, so this is not a part of your VIN.

Coding the option package name into the VIN, beginning with the 2010 MY C6s.

Starting with 2010 GM began coding 1LT, 2LT and the model etc into the VIN.

The fifth digit denotes model/equipment.

This is for the fifth digit on a 2010 and up

A 1LT MT
B 2LT MT
C 3LT MT
D 4LT MT
E 1LT AT
F 2LT AT
G 3LT AT
H 4LT AT
J Z06 1LZ
K Z06 2LZ
L Z06 3LZ
M ZR1 STD
N ZR1 3ZR
P GS 1LT MT
R GS 2LT MT
S GS 3LT MT
T GS 4LT MT
U GS 1LT AT
V GS 2LT AT
W GS 3LT AT
X GS 4LT AT
Here's what's in your VIN:

Corvette VIN Decoder 1981 to Present
17 Digit VIN Explanation
Location: Drivers side top of the instrument panel for late model Corvette's or windshield post (A-pillar) for earlier models.

Example: 1G1YY26W485100001

Located on your glove compartment door is a listen of all the RPO codes that your car was born with. I have an '07 and they are all listed right there on the back side of the glove compartment door. It is a white sticker about six inches long and maybe four inches wide, can't miss it.

Since your car is packed away and it appears you bought it at a Chevy dealer, just call their service department and have them look your VIN up in GMVIS and ask if it has Z51. They can tell you immediately then, and if they have any customer service skills at all they can email you the complete inquiry with dealer service history, option codes, etc.

But assuming your car has low miles, chances are it has Z51 judging by the rotors alone. There are no interior "goodies" that are associated with Z51, other than the lack of a suspension adjuster switch.

Edit: Or a slower and more costly way to go is to order a build sheet and/or reproduction window sticker from the Corvette Museum.

Looks like you missed this information from the OP's original post:

My car is being stored so i don't have access to the sticker on door.
which also means he doesn't have access to the glove box.
