Default Heard seat back pop

Got in the car and was leaning to the left to get the seat belt clipped and heard a pop and now the seat back is leaning to the left has anyone has this happen to them and how did you fix it?

Maybe it was just the hinge . Im thinking a good upolsterer can determine that . Be aware playing with a Corvette isnt cheap

I’m 6’1” 230 pounds and have driven every generation year starting in 1978 c3 to my 2007 c6 and this is the first time this has happen. No offense taken.

Have you tried using the lever to recline or flip the seat forward? It may have popped off by a tooth and can be fixed by resetting it.

i will give that a try thanks, hopefully that will work or it’s back to the upholstery shop, just replace the leather 2 weeks ago.

I'd consider taking it back to the upholstery shop and have them check their work. Something may not be tightened or adjusted correctly.
