I absolutely love the Centennial edition that paint work and the subtle stripes are amazing, to top off the one of a kind interior and badging. I think the Centennial GS Corvettes will be worth a lot of money as collectors one day in the future

The radio in the C6 is garbage but that can be replaced with a modern unit and back camera. You only get 24-30 more HP on the C7 base. I prefer the bulletproof LS3 and not having my car run in 4cyl mode. If you go automatic the 8spd has been a problem in all of GM’’s vehicles. The C7 rear is hideous and the rest of the body is too busy with creases and angles that just have no flow. Go with a GS, one of the best looking Corvettes ever made.

I really like the seats. Rest of the interior is pretty crappy but I have a 2005. C7 interior is lightyears better, but I personally think the C6 looks a lot better and I really didn't buy a corvette for the interior.

I also really like the analog-ness of my 2005. Switches and everything is easily adjusted. The only thing I wouldn't mind better would be the radio but that was an easy fix for me.

My 427 is a 1SC (4LT) and I love the interior. The leather wrapped dash and door panels go a long way to get rid of the "cheap" feeling all the plastics give off. I also prefer the analog gauges to those of the C7. The biggest upgrade for the C7 IMO is the head unit/nav with front and rear cameras which is an easy upgrades for a C6. I've owned 2 C7s, the first one had the CF interior package, when I bought the second one with the standard dash, the cheap plastics really bothered me. I guess what I'm saying is while the C7 is an evolutionary step forward for the Corvette, the interior still has its flaws. Also, the C7 was cramped for me, but I can sit all day in my C6 with no complaints. My vote would be to go C6 and address the antiquated head unit with more money left over for gas, mods, etc.

As stated above only you can decide what you really want but if you want opinions go ask this question in the C7 section.

Heck I like my C5 interior. IMHO C5 is 100% function, C6 is a little silly in places (electric door release...) C7 is glitzy. I like it functional and simple.
One thing to consider is the C5/C6 interiors mostly bolt/screw together. C7's clip together. IF you are going to be taking your interior apart multiple times, the C5/C6 will hold up better; the C7 will wear the clips etc a bit each time.

Good Point!

There are way more folks (like me) that have owned both over in C7 than in C6

Many don't like the dash going digital, they prefer the analog style gauges in the c6. Pricewise it's hard to find c7's under 40k, with many 'regular' models in the 50's. C6's are much cheeper. My biggest compliant in the c6 is steering wheel. Even the c5 wheel looks 10x's better to me.

I haven't taken a C7 out very long, but it seems the C7 has a bit more "blind spots" compared to the C6. Granted there are tech assist warnings available, but I still like to use my eyes. The C7's A pillars seem to be a bit wider and the B's definitely are since the top of the hatch isn't completely glass, like the C6.

The only thing I don't care for on the C6 is the climate controls, it looks like something from a base Chevy Cruze and cheapens the look IMO.

The C7 is light years ahead of the C6 from an interior design, construction, and materials standpoint.

For me, the C6 design isn't so bad as the switchgear, plastics, and electronics they used. My 2012 GS feels so dated on the inside. I always notice this especially after driving a new car. But it's easy to overlook considering the driving experience. I forget everything negative when I drop the hammer...

The interior of the C7 is much better then the C6 in regards to technology IMO, but that is where it ends. In regards to styling, I prefer the C6, I also found the C7 interior to be more confining & cramped then C6. When I went out a year or so ago with all intention of trading my C6 in for a new C7, I didn't. On top of not being a big fan of the body styling of C7, when I test drove a couple, I just couldn't get comfortable and actually felt claustrophobic.

I used to just look the other way when a C7 appeared because I love the c6 so much. However, they are starting to grow on my ..... mostly since I actually sat in one at the corvette museum. It fit me like a glove! I would definitely say I like the c7 interior better than my c6. however, i still absolutely love my c6 and have no plans to get a c7 anytime soon. however, If I were to drive one, it may make me think again.

I would say it's all personal preference .

Compared to a 2019 vehicle, my 2007 feels almost primitive, but I like it that way.

The c7 interior is basically a modern take on the c4 interior. Not a bad thing IMO, but it feels more dated than it is because everyone else moved away from the "fighter cockpit" style interior.

They were just trying to match the steering wheel.

I didn't know the C7 had a 4x4 option.....

Seriously, fellas and ladies, that rear wheel gap is fugly as all get out. And yeah, I meant "fugly" in a negative way.

It seems that the C7 comes from the factory with a huge range of height. Some come with little wheel gap, some come with a lot. Mine was a lot, so I lowered it all the way on the stock bolts, and it made about an inch (and a world) of difference.
