Seriously, fellas and ladies, that rear wheel gap is fugly as all get out. And yeah, I meant "fugly" in a negative way.
I can't understand what look the owner was going for with this car. Whatever it was it didn't work.

Lol hey as I’ve said I love me some C6 GS. That’s my #1 choice and throw a whipple supercharger on it then have a whole lot of fun. I personally don’t mind the look of the C7 Z06 with the beefed up fenders and body panels/add ons. Not quite as smooth as the C6 but I wouldn’t kick it to the curb either. Did you guys peep that C6 GS centennial? The suede interior and badging/ extras really makes it look higher quality, and that rear end is perfect. I’ve always loved the traditional circle tail lights. When the C7 came out I actually was completely uninterested because it looked like a corvette with Camaro features, I especially didn’t care for and still don’t care for the base models. The Z06 I could live with though.

Only the C7 owners say that to justify their purchase.

That makes no sense, whatsoever.

To be honest, I tend to be a glass half full kind of guy and I see the greatness in both cars. I prefer the C6 but I can see why others prefer the C7. I do love both cars I mean a corvette is a corvette to me. I just really think to myself from my own standpoint: is the C7 interior worth the jump for me to say I prefer it over the C6 and really the point was to pick your guys brains on that matter, especially those of you who have had both and have already made those decisions.

It’s the same damn steering wheel that’s in a Cobalt.

At least the steering wheel from my 2002 doesn’t look just like the one in a 2002 Cavalier.

Yea, nothing like having a rotary **** with a number in the middle... I don't mind the controls per say, but more colorful would be nice.

I’m seeing C6 GS from $28,000 on the low end to $36,000 on the high end and C7 base stingrays from $38,000 on the low end to like $44-45,000 on the higher end. I have long been a C6 fan, I think that it is a very well rounded car and to me the aesthetics especially on the GS is better than any Vette I’ve seen (love the wide rear end with the traditional tail lights, although the C7 Z06 has a beautiful look to it also). Based on that I think my best bet would be to stick with my guns and I’d be very happy with a C6 GS. I’ve heard people talk down on their interiors and talk very highly of C7 interiors, but assuming you have a 2lt and up C6 GS what really doesn’t it have that the C7 has other than the updated software and more modern look and application? The C6 GS has dual climate, push button, nav, backup camera, traction, etc etc etc to me that sounds perfect although sure the C7 is a more modern and updated version, is it really THAT big of a difference?
I love my '07 3LT. I didn't even know it had all that stuff on it when I bought it.

I'm pretty clueless about the past several decades of the car world, but to me my car is a world-class luxury sports car.

GMs interiors are generally junk when compared to their competition but I like mine in my 60th Anniversary package 13GS. Blue diamond is the shade.

Didnt care much for the C7 due to its size. I love the driving position of the C6. Nav can be updated in the C6 but I think the C7bis stuck with the stock NAV.

Nav info can be updated in the C7. It's a software update rather than a DVD purchase.

I've never seat in base C7 seats, only the optional competition sport seats. I have a couple friends with sport comp seats in their C7s and have a few hours of seat time driving those cars.
The C7 competition sport seats are so different from the seats in my 2013 GS that I wouldn't know where to start. They sit more like a C4 seat then my C6 seats. You sit "in" them, not "on" them.

One thing that scares me with the C7 is all the tech. When the sensors and this and that start to fail and they will, what will it cost in time and money down the road as these cars age? Sometimes simple is better unless you trade your cars every 2-5 years..

I agree with this. For me, a lot depends on how long I plan on keeping the car. For a car that I plan on keeping long term and out of warranty, I appreciate the simplicity of the C6.

Ha, when I got my C6 I was thinking (and worried) about all the finicky electronics on them, comparing them to the simplicity of 40-50 year old cars.

A C6 is not void of all tech, but it is extremely tame compared to the cars hitting dealer showrooms today. Most new car buyers are only concerned with keeping their car short term and while in warranty, so the more tech and gadgets, the more appealing it is to them. But tech heavy cars don't age well. With cars, simplicity does age better. And, imo, ends up being more desirable down the road. I like new cars and tech also, but if I plan on keeping it long term, all the tech becomes less appealing to me.

I own both a C6 and a C7 - although the C6 is an amazing car, I do feel that the C6 interior is somewhat bland. As for my C7 interior - well Ill let you guys be the judge as to how sexy a C7 interior can look - this is a 3LT with a Kalahari interior:

I'm sorry, maybe it's just the lighting, but that color is horrid.

Never been a fan of Kalahari but the interior itself kills the C6.
