Default Cut outs on a c6

I just bought a 2007 coupe 6 speed. I have owned a 64 roaster for some years. I wondered if I can put exhaust cut outs on the Car? Will this cause any code issues with ecm?

The next best thing would be bi-modal mufflers. Have you looked into those?

Yes. I run QTP low profile cutouts on my vet. I can be quiet as a church mouse or race car loud. I was told not to leave them open all of the time, but they are nice when I want to be annoying.

I got my mom's roaster (along with a colander, sauce pans, cookie sheets, etc.) when she passed. It's much older than a '64.

No codes, no issues.

I have kooks 1 7/8” long tubes, 3” Kooks exhaust, high flow cats.

As long as the cut-outs are behind the cats there should be no code issues.

Default Cut outs

I see what looks like a heat shield out to the side of the cut outs. Did they come with these? Also, a very clean and neat install on the hardware. Where did you wire up the power?
Thanks phil
