Normal or something to worry about?
Hi!
2005 Corvette Lingenfelter 600hp car with magnacharger, upgraded clutch and flywheel.
Noticed a rattle sound or something similar from the tranny in neutral idling, dissapears when pushing in the clutch.
Car has 30k miles
I have read many posts about marbles in a can, rattle sounds, TT bearings / couplers etc., but usually the posts conclude with its normal ,or a few have had the bearings go bad in the TT. Everything works fine, no vibrations or other sounds! Asking for a friend.

Safety Car
Sound like a TT bearing issue

Could just be neutral gear/fork rattle, annoying but not harmful. Higher hp engines or cars with poly engine/trans mounts can magnify idle vibrations and cause the tranny inners to rattle a bit.

Burning Brakes
AKA gear rollover noise. Had it in several manual transmission vehicles. Noticed with vehicle idling and transmission in neutral.
