Default Not a fan of the C7 style headlights, am I the only one?

I see many guys changing out their headlights to the new C7 style headlight. If I'm being honest, I have to say I don't like them. I don't think the style or lines match the C6 well and in my opinion they just look like they don't belong. I have seen many threads and posts where everyone comments on how good they look. Am I the only one who doesn't like them? Any thoughts?

I am including the Morimoto headlights in this discussion when I say C7 style. The rectangle shape of the lights and the "L" shape design just don'y mix well with the curves and circles associated with the design of a C6, imo.

I am quite certain you are not the only one. I am one who likes them. If I had to change a headlight out it would be for the C7 style lights.

I like they way they look. I'm just not sure that I like them enough to pay the freight when my current lights are working just fine.

Like a lot of things, it's a matter of personal taste. C7 headlights on a C6 are not to my taste, but then again I can't stand lima beans, or ketchup. If someone wants to spend the $$ and modify their car in any way, it's up to them, as long as they don't expect everyone is going to drool over it.

I like them in the C7, but not the C6. I prefer the factory C6 light with either black or CF buckets. Since I bought my current car with the factory black headlights, I don't care for the body colored lights. Just not enough contrast.

No, doesnt look good on a c6 in my opinion. Mixes too modern of a look with an older classic look of the c6. I do like the headlights but I like the c6 headlights much better.

You don't like Ketchup? What do you put on your fries & burgers?

Seriously. Almost as messed up as mixing mayo and ketchup!

I don't like them either, but if others do, I'm happy for them. I don't have to buy em, so I dont care.

I found his statement to be pretty despicable myself.

I can understand lima beans but I mean c'mon, ketchup??

I have them on my car. They were a cheap way to get black headlights, since that is all I wanted. I could care less about the LEDs or style, just wanted black headlights so when I wrap the car the silver body matched headlights don't stand out.

I prefer the look of the Morimotos, but I'm an even bigger fan of their illumination improvement. They throw out twice the light (in lumens) of the original C6 assemblies in a far more well-defined pattern. I would have liked to have Victory Red available when I ordered mine, but the dark charcoal looks good too.

Not really. Theyre too "busy" looking IMO. Too many attempts at things and just dont flow well with the shape of the housing.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. And for you snowflake types, turn away because I am about to offend you. They are fugly on the C6.

To each their own, personal preferences are just an opinion and I respect that.

I own both a C6 and a C7. The factory headlights are the right design for their respective car, and transplanting them either way doesn't flow. IMO, between the two the C7 is far more attractive and more functional - GM nailed it there.
