ADVICE Needed: Any concerns purchasing ECS Supercharged LS3 C6?
I have had several Corvettes in my years (C5's, C6, & a c7), and I have had head/cam/headers, torque converters, etc, but never a supercharged one.
I have found a great deal on a LS3 c6 with 25,000 miles that has an ECS 1500 supercharger package installed, upgraded injectors, LT headers, catless x-pipe, and corsa exhaust. Everything else is stock on the car.
Are there any concerns I should have about having a stock engine with this supercharger added to it with no internal engine mods?
Car is super clean with no issues, well, no issues currently showing up with car.
Any and all advice/thoughts is VERY MUCH APPRECIATED! Thanks in advance!!!

I’d buy it.

They are not inherently faulty. Unless there is an obvious mechanical issue, there should not be a problem. If someone put all that money into it so they could beat on it, then there might be other problems with bottom end, trans, rear, etc. But the SC, by itself, is not a villain.

I have had ECS supercharger on mine for probably 4 years now and 20k miles . has been trouble free. I would drive it cross country tomorrow.
I would just keep some money on hand for rear tires.

it put down 717 on e85. Didn't run it again on 93, but its probably in the 680 ballpark. I normally just round it to 700. never had it at the track.
Been wanting to change the cam in it, but traction is already sketchy at best running NT05rs on 19s.

I'm wrapping up the ECS install on my car right now, but everything I've researched tell me that you should check and see if it still has the stock HB since those go out fairly regularly on these cars.
Not a deal breaker, but you should consider it as something you'll need to change out in the future.
I'd also see who tuned the car and if it still has the restrictor plate.
Running without the restrictor plate has been done by many, but supporting mods/ tuning is vital.
