Brand new wheels! C7 zr1 reps, but nicer. Mrr m755 in black chrome
So as the title states, I just installed a new set of wheels on my Centennial Edition Grand Sport. The wheels are based on the C7 ZR1, but more concave. So they look nicer. Also, they are more aggressive offsets. 19x10 +30 and 20x12 +50 (my old wheels were stock OEM Z06 wheels 19x10 +43 and 20x12 +59) If anyone is local to Chicago and wants to buy my old wheels, shoot me an offer. They're in MINT condition.
Tires are Michelin Pilot Sport 4S in 275/30/19 and 325/25/20
I'm running a 5mm spacer in back for more flush fitment.
I will take better pics as soon as I lower it a tad more on the stock bolts.

Looks great! I have been thinking about these in gloss black for my GS, but wasn't sure what they looked like. I have a bad habit of changing wheels often, and this may have pushed me in that direction

Looks great. Smart deviation from the stock 19/20 tires sizes too, which allowed for the Michelin sport 4s option.

Thank You, slow build, but its coming along
Glad you like it
Yes, the tires were my biggest dilemma. I knew I didn't want the heavy run-flat MPSS's and I hated the way the OEM size Continentals on my C7Z wheels were stretched. Only other option was going down a bit on the best tire on the market. Overall I'm happy with the result. And the new 4S's were cheaper then the rock hard OEM ZP's

Are the MRR Wheels Gloss Black Powdercoat or PVC Black Chrome ???
With the 5mm Rear Spacers you really have same as 55 ET (Back Spacing)
(and TIRE Side Wall still not FLUSH or is it ????
What Color or Shade from what material is your Splitter and Skirts AND
What Brand at What Cost $$$$$

Simply AMAZING! I don’t think you could’ve picked a better wheel design and I’m a huge black chrome fan. I love the 19/20 setup. I’ve been looking at exactly this for my ‘08 base. Just need some help figuring out the offsets..... And of course gathering the funds!! Super sweet man, congrats

Those look GREAT! And while I’m not a big fan of black wheels, I’m starting to think that the black chrome would look great on my DSOM car. They give a dark and contrasting look, but without loosing much of the wheel ‘definition’.

And with a 5mm spacer, the offset of effectively +45. I'm sure you can still push it a bit, but for me this is the perfect functional stance on my car. The only slight worry in the back of my head is that I'm losing a couple of turns on the tuner lug nuts since there are no extended thread lug nuts that will fit these wheels.
The lip is ZRAL-1 from a forum supplier. The side skirts are generic fiberglass ZR1 I'd assume (came with the car). Everything is paint matched Carbon Flash Metallic.

Thank You, I was debating whether to get them paint matched in Carbon Flash or Black Chrome, but I'm glad I went with the latter.
Yes, I figured I'd set my car apart a bit, since most people buy the wheels in Gloss Black
That was my reaction when I opened up the box from PK Auto with the wheels

CentennialGS - I'm a big fan of flush fitments. One thing to consider though is increased possibility for stone chips. Might want to consider paint protection film on the body panel below the doors and ahead of the rear wheels.

Yes, I've been considering that too. the vertical piece of the side-skirt is already all chipped up, and I know with the new wheels it will only be worse.

Well they're not to everyone's taste. Although my car is not black. I think these wheels in gloss black on a black Vette would look pretty cool. Check out January_Starchild and Bane205 on Instagram
