2020 C6 of the Year Finalist - Unmodified

Default Would like to find the current owner of one of my Vettes

I turned 65 and have just located and repurchased my 2013 60th Anniversary 427 convertible. After selling it 11 months after purchasing it, for a 2015 Z06, which I didnt care for as much. In February I was going through my photos of all my past vettes and the 2013 just kept me going back and looking at the photo again and again. I final decided I have to find the car, I only remembered that the gentleman I sold it to owner an ac company close to my town. I called every ac company till I found him. Asked if he would be interested in selling my car back to me, he said he was wanting to get a new C8 and couldnt think of a better person to sell C6 back to. So after 4 1/2 years and only driven an additional 2000 miles I got back my car back with 6900 miles. I'm just thrilled !

Now I would like to find someone that could run a vin on a car I sold about 9 years ago, another White convertible, but this was 1966. I have the vin number, and was hoping someone could run it for me. I'd be happy to pay to find if the car is still in Ft Lauderale, and if I could buy it back as well. Please pm me if you are able to, and I will send vin number.

Most of us had that one car that we wish we could have back. Mine wasn’t a Corvette but a 66 Chevy II SS I had when I was 16. Unfortunately the guy I sold it to ran into the back of a fire truck.

Hopefully my 66 didn’t meet a fire truck.

You could try this mid year Corvette Registry! https://www.c2registry.org/index.php
I had a 67, and tried to find the current owner several years on this registry, but wasn't successful. Good luck.
Here Is another one: http://www.63-67corvette.com/ Look under Vette search tab.

I don't know how else you're going to find the car with just the vin#. DMVs and Police depts. won't give you the owner's information with just a vin#. Did you sell it to an individual? If you can't remember the buyer info, I think you're SOL.

The current owner, in NC, of my '64 (that I sold around '74) - found -me- recently! Apparently I had left some documentation in the trunk and it stayed there all these years.
