Default Are the C6 cupholders any good??

Hi: I'm about to pick up my first Corvette next week. I've had a lot of questions answered on this forum. It's a great place to learn everything about a Corvette. I was just wondering if the stock cupholders on the C6 are decent or do you guys have after market cupholders? I appreciate any input. Thanks!

Been using them for a decade and a half. .

Only time I've had a problem is when the top is down and there is an empty,( or almost) water bottle. Watching it start to spin, and gain speed until it lifts of and becomes airborne is entertaining, to say the least!

in my opinion they are small, and i bump my cup with the shifter. Its just a reason to not keep liquids in the car lol.

They are fine, but definitely can't put anything very wide in them. My old Contigo 20oz travel coffee mug won't fit in it, as well as some of my other bottles. But I got a new Contigo 16oz that fix very snug in there. A 20oz water bottle fits fine in there. I wish they were a bit bigger, but nothing to worry about.

I have to ask a stupid question. How is it that you've been a member on this forum for 10 years, and virtually know nothing about the car?
I'm curious, have you seen the car in person, or did you buy it sight unseen? If it were me, I wouldn't be asking trivial questions, instead, use the forum search engine, and totally educate myself on the cars idiosyncrasies, problems that I might encounter buying this car. Most likely you bought the car as-is, without any kind of warranty. I wouldn't worry about the little stuff, until the big stuff has been sorted out!
I wish you the best of luck.

This fit perfectly in my C6. Fits my HydroFlask 32 and 40 oz and doesn't tip over.

Personally, I don't like the location and don't use then, use a Travel Buddy double cup holder instead.

I’m nervous on hard acceleration that they will not hold a drink in place. Always screw the caps back on your bottles!!

The Nav was also a big concern.

I find it fascinating the OP's been a member of this forum for over 10 years and is just now acquiring his first Vette. I would have thought that by now he'd know more about them then a Chevy salesman.

I use Buddy cup holder, dual mounts on the passenger side by the dash.
Love it, had one in the last Corvette, recommend the one with two holders.
