First night at the track. How bad is it?
First time ever running my car. LS2 MN6 with btr stage 3, lt headers, vararam, and tune. 51 degrees, very damp, puddling around the track pits etc. I didn't warm the tires up at all. My best was a 13.71 et @ 112.8. 60' was 2.38, 330 was 6.34, 1/8 was 8.76 @85.25. I could not get traction to save my life. Street tires and TC on because it was damp and slippery. How do those numbers sound for a total newcomer with those mods?

Honestly? You probably would have run faster stock. It sounds like you have way more power than you have tire grip.

Track conditions for you were terrible. My 05 auto car when stock with stock runflats ran a best of 12.40 with a 1.76 60ft at just under 113mph.With better conditions your car should easily run in the 11's

I'm a little disappointed in how the night went. Even though the conditions were bad I thought my car should trap 120+ given the mods and poor driver ability. I was under the impression ET is where the skill shows and mph is where the car's power shows. Disappointing to be trapping the same as stock ls2s and have ~90+ hp over stock.

1st time ever in lousy conditions?
Practice - Practice - Practice.
No secret C6 gets squirrely quick, does not like lousy conditions at WOT + 1st time?
Fortunate to have maintained control long enough to get an EP.
Hit a wall/retaining barrier and then, disappointment would be justified.
Methinks you did OK.
Next time.

As the others have wisely commented, the driver, tires, & weather conditions are the issue & always will be. TC needs to be off, & next time borrow a set of drag radials if you can & run several passes... you'll quickly learn how to better manage gas & clutch on launch, & your car should be in high 11's. My LS2 with headers, intake, & tune got to 12.03 at 123 with this dummy driving... a better driver would probably get mine into 11's. PRACTICE!

Don't be disappointed--- kind of a long story but here it is ---- son's birthday weekend and he comes home from UT Austin, it's Friday night and we had nothing to do so we took his 05 6M to Royal Purple raceway that is only ~ 20 minutes from the house...... wife just a bitchin and calling us stupid for taking his daily driver to the track & don't call her if we break anything............ we get there pay our $20 and while in line talking to all the others who have Go Pros all over and some really nice rides .....they advise that the line is really sticky and not to just drop the clutch but wait until you get going to hammer on it...........my son gets to the line and I am videoing him......tree counts down and he dumps the clutch as hard as you can ........ right wheel starts hopping and car comes to a slow roll about 60' out.........we have to push it all the way back with tons of people watching, order a flat bed and carry it home............don't even want to tell you guys what the ole lady was saying as the truck slowly wenched it off the flatbed..........
Come to find out the weak link on the 05 was the diff, the housing is a known issue, Chevy fixed it in 06 (if I would have known that we would have never went)......long story short cost was ~ $4k for a RPM Transmission Stg4 diff & halfshaft..........
Yea don't be disappointed - you got to drive yours home from the track & your ole lady wasn't bitchin!!!!......lol

Overall I had a blast and I'll definitely be back. I'd like to get it down to a point where I'm consistent. Does my mph line up with the engine work done to my car? For whatever reason I feel like it's low and I didn't think that was something a driver could really screw up. Or can that be messed up by a bad driver, track Conditions, tc, etc? I Dyno'd 425/381. I'm hoping for 120+ passes.

Nothing lines up with power the car makes due to all the conditions that night at track.TC alone depending on amount of times it activated during that run would have taken the MPH out of it
