Default Offering a little help for a pay it FWD

Alright guys here goes! SHORT BACK STORY when I bought my Z06 2 years ago it was lightly moded. The shop that did the work did not want to answer questions as I was trying to figure their mess out unless I paid them. In the process of chasing down the build and the mods done to my car I decided to go full mod. LSX, ECS blower, alky, etc... now what I’m posting about!!!
If you live near Manitowoc WI or feel like traveling here I am willing to help those of you that want to save the labor of a clutch install by assisting YOU install YOUR new clutch. I will not charge you a penny!!! You bring your clutch or have it shipped here and we can do it in a weekend. Usually takes about 9-10 hours, (but has taken longer with new guys or if we find more damage), from the time it is put on the lift to the time you come off the lift. We have done it in as little as 7 hours but plan for longer and hope for shorter My Brother and I have done his Z, my Z, my wife’s C5 and a couple of other C5/C6s for local guys here. Recently we replaced my diff output shafts. Again we don’t charge anything but we do expect that you respect our equipment and bring your own consumables like paper towel, brake cleaner, etc......

The purpose of us helping you out is to pay it forward from the help we have received from fellow forum members. If you need help and feel you want to learn how to replace your clutch, fuel sending unit, or other items that you may need help with, Him or I or both of us are willing to help in any way we can. We both have years of building our different cars and I’m also an Aircraft mechanic / pilot so I have an extensive mechanical background.

If you’re interested please PM me or respond to this post and I will get you my contact info and we will try to make it work. Plan on staying in one of the local motels if you’re driving a long way for the weekend but we can work out all the details when we talk.

Mr Moderator if this is not the place to post this please let me know and will gladly move it.

And again Thank all of you that have contributed to maintaining and keeping this Forum up, it is a lot of help for us DIY’ers

Brandon and Gabe

Generous offer, Brandon.

My bride works in Manitowoc, drives from our spread 12 mi outside West Bend.
Almost wised my '08 Z needed a clutch, trip would be half the gas.
Great time for a new clutch, lunch at Green Street & tour USS Cobia again.

Wow, what an offer! My car is currently undergoing surgery and labor on the clutch install portion was $900.

If I would have been comfortable installing the clutch I would have done the super charger and rest of the install myself. Clutch was what stopped me.

So far we’ve done 11 clutches ( two were mine LOL) I think everyone has had a good experience. We’ve done 3 of them in 8 hours start to finish while teaching. So it’s is working well for guys that want to learn.
