Default Painting Fuel Rail Covers / Post Pictures Please

I want to paint my fuel rail covers silver to match my car color and adding red CORVETTE emblems. I'm looking for some tips on removing and reinstalling them, paint choice and adding CORVETTE emblems. Post pictures of your painted covers too, please.

Used body paint for the various pieces...Machine Silver Metallic 67U for my '05.Too lazy to paint the lettering in any contrasting color. The fuel rail covers just snap on/off. To remove, gently pull up & they will snap off. Not necessary to disconnect the fuel line. Use a hair dryer to soften the material around the slot & gently twist around the line. When reinstalling after paint, use some painters tape around the slot to prevent any scratches.

Getting them glassy smooth takes hours of sanding, but it is worth it

After getting mine painted, I purchased Raised red letters that fit in the indents.
